Finland disappointment for Athanassoulas
After success on the tarmac of the Rallye Deutschland Greek driver Lambros Athanassoulas faced the daunting stages of the famous Neste Rally Finland. Lamros was quickly on the pace after a puncture on Stage 1 to move into a challenging position by Friday afternoon. However on the repeat of the Vellipohja stage the Fiesta bottomed out on the ruts and was pitched into the trees at over 120kph and into retirement.

Athanassoulas claims first FSTi win
Greek driver Lambros Athanassoulas claimed his first win in the Fiesta SportingTrophy International (FSTi) series, as well as winning the N3 Class overall after three hard days on OMV ADAC Rallye Deutschland, taking the win by 21.6 seconds from championship and early rally leader Alessandro Bettega.

Final day heartbreak in Italy
The Greek crew of Lambros Athanassoulas and Nikos Mouzakis in the Jet Oils backed Fiesta showed impressive form to lead the Fiesta STs during leg 2 on their first visit to Sardinia. The RMS operated Ford had shown good reliability to go into the final day in a strong second place. However a broken bottom ball joint on SS14 meant that no more stages could be completed on that day and they dropped to 6th at the end of the rally.

Team Greece Ready for Rally Catalunya
For the first time a Greek crew will participate in a full WRC program with the support of the Greek National Motor Sport Association
Lambros Athanassoulas and Nikos Mouzakis will represent Greece in all six rounds of the Fiesta Sporting International Trophy with support from Ford Motor Hellas, Jet Oil, Puma Greece and 4 Wheels magazine.

formerly General Manager of the customer division at Motor Sport Developments (MSD) and
the man responsible for running the non-works Hyundai Accent World Rally Cars in the WRC
